Home Carrfields Group welcomes Mitsubishi Motors NZ as fleet partner

April 30 2021 – Ashburton-based agribusiness group Carrfields has entered into a fleet partnership agreement with Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand.
Under the agreement, Mitsubishi will eventually supply around 200 Triton, Outlander and Pajero vehicles to Carrfields, which will be used by all its business divisions nationwide.
The fleet partnership follows the recent opening of a new Mitsubishi vehicle sales, service and parts business in Ashburton under a joint venture agreement between Christchurch-based Morrison Cars and Carrfields.
Craig Carr, managing director of Carrfields Group, says the company is pleased to take its association with the Mitsubishi brand to the next level with a formal fleet partnership agreement.
“We are very happy to extend our relationship with the Mitsubishi brand beyond the recent successful opening of our full-service Mitsubishi sales, service and parts operation in Ashburton,” he says.
“After considering a number of options, we opted for Mitsubishi vehicles for use within our group, which we believe are well suited to the needs of our various business lines around the country. We are confident the selection of Mitsubishi vehicles in our fleet will enable our teams to do their jobs highly effectively.”
Daniel Cook, chief operating officer of Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand, says the company is delighted to become fleet partner to Carrfields.
“Carrfields is a part of the fabric of the rural community, a community which Mitsubishi Motors NZ has a long and proud history of working with.”
Mitsubishi Motors NZ has existing fleet partnership agreements with several large organisations around New Zealand including the government, the Building & Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO), Greater Wellington Regional Council, AON and the New Zealand Defence Force.
